Are you bitter or will you make it better?

Happy New Year ~2017~

You either get bitter or you get better. It’s that simple. You either take what has been dealt to you and allow it to make you a better person, or you allow it to tear you down. The choice does not belong to fate, it belongs to you. ~ Josh Shipp

How has your 2016 been? Have you had challenges that have made you bitter? How did you work through that challenge? Are you struggling to find a better way to deal with what has happened? What is your plan and how will you start this process?

We all have challenges. This year has been a long list of challenges for me. Some pretty deep challenges that most people are not aware of because I choose not to allow all my private details to be posted publicly on Facebook. Sometimes silence and privacy are better than openly airing all of your inner feelings. The point I am trying to make is that everyone deals with something from time-to-time. Life coaches, any coach, is not exempt from facing adversity and making decisions on how to rectify a situation. You take the challenge, and you acknowledge it. You take the challenge, and you accept it. You take the challenge, and you move forward to what is not serving you a purpose.

This is on you. You can try to point the finger at someone else, but the accountability lies within you. You only. You are the one that will make the change if it is wanted and needed. No one will do this for you.

You have the choice to be bitter, or you have the choice to be better. Take 2017 as a new start to a new you, and life. Do what is right for you. Love yourself enough to make your life better.
