Nature

Nature is proven to improve your mood. According to the University of Rochester (2010), "Being outside in nature for just 20 minutes in a day was enough to significantly boost vitality levels, the research finds" (pg. 1, para 1). Studies conducted conclude with success that being in nature makes individuals feel alive. Both mental and physical health capacities are important to these findings. The vitality that nature brings to people gives more energy to indiviudals so they can do what they wish to do.  Nature experience also decreses the chance for physical illness. A persons well-being is heightened with exposure to nature (University of Rochester, 2010).

I am an advocate for nature. I am also an advocate for Environmental Psychology which is upcoming in the world of psychology. More and more we are finding that by engaging yourself as one with nature it will benefit your being overall. Many times when individuals need movtivation or guidance, a simple walk with nature will provide valuable insight.

I will share with you my nature experiences. Notice the smile on my face!  If I am feeling slugglish, sad, upset, or troubled in any way, I take myself to nature and afterward, I feel much better. If I start out happy, I am estastic and full of life after my nature journey.

See the smile?  I told you...nature makes YOU happy!

The photo on the right...the mountain right behind my house. It doesn't take much to get yourself out in nature around home!  Just get out and start walking!

You will be amazed at what you see!!!!
