Take time to soothe your soul in nature.
Nature is where I went this morning with my best friend. We hiked in a local canyon, and it felt so good to be out in the open land.
The leaves are changing, and the Fall air smelled amazing.
I took the time this morning because life, work, and school can be demanding. My head was spinning with content, and I needed to free my mind!
What do you do when you are stressed with daily life? What ways do you reduce your stress?
Studies show that nature heals. The production of stress hormones, heart rate, muscle tension, and blood pressure can be reduced! Nature is good for your overall well-being (University of Minnesota, 2014).
So next time you are feeling anxious, take yourself outside and go for a walk. There is nothing better than nature to reduce all those unwanted emotions.
Take care of you!
