Sunday Affirmation
I forgive those who have harmed me in my past and peacefully detach from them.
Who has been hurt by someone in their past? How did you detach? Did you use precious energy that could have been useful in some other area of your life or did you detach peacefully?
My belief on this one is that we must forgive those who have brought hurt to us. We are the ones that will suffer if we do not forgive. My other thought on this is that we are in control of our emotions and behaviors. We choose our emotions and we choose our behaviors. In my life, regardless of the hurt, I believe myself to be a survivor. Sometimes the situation can take a little longer to heal as hurt is a very personal journey.
Acknowledge your thoughts and hurt. Accept the situation at hand for what it is. Move forward in a positive direction.
Acknowledge. Acceptance. Move forward.
Some individuals and some situations are worth preserving, others are not. This is a call only you can decide.
But forgiveness, this is genuinely needed for your self, your well-being, and for your own happiness.

Remember, self-care should be the foremost concern in your life.
Always be kind, even through the hurt, but take care of you.
You are worthy of peaceful detachment.
