Breathe

Hello and Happy Motivational Monday!

Breathe beautiful souls, whatever it is that is challenging you, it will work out. If life has thrown you a curve ball, there may be a minor set back, but eventually things will work out. If you are challenged with goals you set for yourself and you feel like it's taking longer than anticipated, acknowledge that. It's okay to reset a time frame for personal goals. Everything does not have to be done today. Breathe. Rome wasn't built in a day and making a change takes time. Change is not a quick fix. Treat yourself with patience, understanding, and compassion. Take long deeps breaths and know whatever it is troubling you will correct itself in time.

Open your mind to different ways if the way you have chosen isn't working. Sometimes we need something new. The same routine can get boring, change it up!

We are told when we are frazzled to exercise (yoga, stretch, be out in nature, walking). This is absolutely good for us, but there are so many ways we can relax other than exercise. We can meditate, write in a journal, listen to music, do games that use your mind, dance, have alone time, get out in the sun, organize things that you have been putting off, create a zen place for yourself, do creative projects, close your eyes for awhile, breathing exercises counting 1-10 and then backwards 10-1, eat dark chocolate (who doesn't like to eat chocolate), chew gum, spend time with friends, laugh, give your pet a hug, buy a flower arrangement for your home, use essential oils, and my favorite, diffuse citrus oils.

Did you know that smelling citrus oils decreases stress? It does! I saw something the other day that said, "Orange you glad you're not stressed?" In fact, as I am working or with clients, without fail, I diffuse citrus oil! Try it, you may find that it works!

Be good to yourself every day!
